Amidst the plethora of books released in recent years on the presidency of George W. Bush The Presidency of George W. Bush, also known as the George W. Bush Administration, began on his inauguration on January 20, 2001 as the 43rd and current President of the United States of America. The oldest son of former United States President George H. W. Bush, George W.  comes Finlay's account on what she considers the largely ignored anti-feminist aspect of his agenda. His anti-abortion stance is but the tip of the iceberg tip of the iceberg

, Finlay warns, arguing that his opposition to women's interests is far more insidious. She points to how his closure of women's offices in government and his cancellation of funding for programs focusing on women's welfare makes a mockery of his already somewhat puzzling reassurance that 'W stands for Women'. Ranging across issues of the President's economic policies, his court appointments, his War on Terrorism Terrorist acts and the threat of Terrorism have occupied the various law enforcement agencies in the U.S. government for many years. The Anti-Terrorism and Effective Death Penalty Act of 1996, as amended by the usa patriot act  and his response to Hurricane Katrina Editing of this page by unregistered or newly registered users is currently disabled due to vandalism. , Finlay draws attention to the distinctively patriarchal bent of the current White House.
