Barbara A. Morrow.


WESTBORO - Barbara A. Morrow, 73, of Westboro, died on Nov. 3, at the UMass Memorial Healthcare-University Campus, Worcester.

Born in Monson, she was the daughter of the late George and Frances (Hadley) Morrow. She was educated in Monson schools and was a graduate of Clark University Clark University, at Worcester, Mass.; coeducational; chartered 1887, opened as a graduate school 1889. It was the second graduate school to be formed in the United States. Its undergraduate college (est. 1902) was integrated with the university in 1920. .

She was a physical education teacher in the Northbridge school system prior to her retirement.

She was an active member and volunteer of the Evangelical Congregational con·gre·ga·tion·al

She is survived by four cousins, Euphemia Vartanian of Narragansett, R.I., Janet Etheredge of Florida, Malcolm Hood of North Attleboro North Attleboro (ă`təlbərə), industrial town (1990 pop. 25,038), Bristol co., SE Mass., near the R.I. line; settled 1669, set off from Attleboro and inc. 1887. Jewelry has been made there since 1807.  and Billy Davis of Cumberland, R.I. She also leaves her dear friends, Doris Trull trull

Her memorial service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 8, at 11 a.m., in the Evangelical Congregational Church, corner of Church and West Main streets, Westboro. Burial in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Monson, will be private. There are no calling hours. Please omit o·mit
