: BPNT) stated today that administrative errors made in the distribution of shares of its common stock as a dividend to former shareholders in The Harmat Organization are being corrected.

As a result of the errors, some persons eligible for the dividend shares have not yet received them while some shares have been distributed to individuals who are not eligible for them. The dividend involves a total of 878,000 BarPoint shares and was agreed to at the time of a decision to combine Harmat with BarPoint in a reverse shell merger that became effective on June 3. The purpose of the dividend is to compensate Harmat shareholders for assets they contributed to the company in advance of the merger. The Harmat Organization had been listed on the OTC bulletin board under the symbol HMAT HMAT Historia Mathematica

Currently more than 14,000,000 shares of BarPoint.com are outstanding.

Nasdaq announced last week that an ex-date Ex-Date

The date on or after which a security is traded without a previously declared dividend or distribution. After the ex-date, a stock is said to trade ex-dividend.

 of October 19, 1999 previously announced in connection with the dividend has been rescinded. "Trades executed through June 2, 1999 in shares of pre-merger Harmat shall include the stock distribution of .3252 shares for each share held," Nasdaq stated. "Trades executed on or after June 3, 1999, the effective date of the merger, shall be `ex' the distribution." Nasdaq suggested that questions about this should be directed to its Market Integrity Department at telephone number (203) 375-9609.
