Bar now using new Y2K CLE scan cards.

The Bar will begin using a new Y2K compliant CLE scan card effective immediately.

The new cards have a four-digit year date instead of the two-digit year date currently used, and they are purple.

The new cards were made available January 1 and will be sent to CLE sponsors and any members who request them.

"If we receive any old cards they will be processed manually and will take longer to post to your CLE records, said Michele Francis of the Bar's CLE department, adding that it takes six to eight weeks for the old cards to be processed. "We would ask anyone who still has any old scan cards to discard them."
