Mr. Read will succeed Sheldon F. Goldthwait, Jr. as President & Chief Executive Officer upon Mr. Goldthwait's retirement some time in 2000. Mr. Read's commercial banking experience in Maine spans a 30-year period. He most recently served as Senior Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager with KeyBank National Association in Augusta. Mr. Read earned his Bachelor of Science Noun 1.
