This is the name of a new Web site currently being designed jointly by the District of Columbia District of Columbia, federal district (2000 pop. 572,059, a 5.7% decrease in population since the 1990 census), 69 sq mi (179 sq km), on the east bank of the Potomac River, coextensive with the city of Washington, D.C. (the capital of the United States).  Baptist Convention and representatives of several Baptist historical organizations, including the SBHS SBHS San Benito High School (Hollister, California)

SBHS Sydney Boys' High School (Sydney, Australia) 
. The purpose of this site is "to provide Internet access See how to access the Internet.  to material on Baptist heritage for Baptist students, Baptist clergy & laity LAITY. Those persons who do not make a part of the clergy. In the United States the division of the people into clergy and laity is not authorized by law, but is, merely conventional. , and non-Baptists. It will give emphasis to Baptists in America, while including Baptists around the world."

This site will include a brief overview of Baptists and their heritage, answers to frequently asked questions about Baptists, a subject index to Baptist heritage with links to available written material and other Web sites, a list of Baptist heritage resources, and other items. The site will be user friendly.
