Bapco support for soccer ceremony.

BAPCO is major sponsors of the closing ceremony of the Companies and Establishments Football League (CEFL) scheduled for Thursday at 7pm at Bapco Club in Awali.

The sponsorship follows a meeting between Bapco's chief executive officer Abdulkarim Al Sayed and CEFL chairman Mazin Al Umran.

Al Umran thanked the company for its continued support to the organising committee of the league, adding that the company has been keen to take part in the CEFL competitions in the last 28 years.

Meanwhile, the organising committee approved the schedule of the closing ceremony which will feature several entertaining programmes to be conducted by the organising committee for the first time this year.

Bahrain Football Association president Shaikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa will be the chief guest of the evening, during which the winners of this year's championships will be honoured.

Asry stole the limelight this season, winning all the three titles - the league, cup and seven-a-side championships. The awarding will be followed by dinner banquet and a raffle draw on the invitations besides cash prizes for the winners of a quiz competition.
