Banner Corporation (Nasdaq:BANR BANR Board on Agriculture and Natural Resources ), the parent of Banner Bank Banner Bank is a Washington financial institution based in Walla Walla. Originally known as First Federal Savings And Loan Of Walla Walla, it was the oldest Savings and Loan institution in the state of Washington. , today announced its Board of Directors declared a $0.16 per share cash dividend to be paid January 9, 2004 to shareholders of record on December 31, 2003. This is Banner's 33rd consecutive quarterly cash dividend and represents an increase of 7%.

On October 24, 2003, Banner reported third quarter net income increased 23% to $4.2 million, or $0.37 per diluted share compared to a year earlier. Revenues increased to $25.2 million for the quarter compared to $24.0 million in the same quarter a year earlier. Assets grew 12% to $2.5 billion, deposits increased 15% to $1.7 billion and loans grew 6% to $1.7 billion from year ago levels.
