Banks urged to back SMBs.


EXPERTS urged increased trust between banks and the SMB (1) (Small to Medium-sized Business) Also called "SME" (small to medium-sized enterprise), it refers to companies that are larger than the small office/home office (SOHO), but not huge.  (small and medium business) sector.

Speaking at the first International Consultants Conference in Dubai, they observed that SMBs in the Gulf lacked managerial capabilities to fight the global financial downturn.
