ImageSoft Technologies, a unit of Fiserv, Inc., (Nasdaq:FISV), today announced that Banknorth Group, a $22 billion bank holding company based in Portland, Maine, plans to implement the DocFusion composition and formatting module of the Titan Enterprise Edition (Titan e2) document imaging software suite throughout its many locations.

The bank has completed 20 acquisitions over the past five years and expects to continue this growth trend, creating a challenge for technology integration and communications standards -- particularly with customer statements. Because DocFusion accepts data input in nearly any format, the system enables the bank to enhance and standardize the design of its customer statements while using disparate systems that have been inherited through merger and acquisition.

Bank-defined rules set enterprise-wide design parameters for white space management, as well as standards for acceptable graphics and fonts. The bank will further use these rules to trigger the inclusion of one-to-one marketing messages in targeted customer statements to cross-sell additional bank services.

With DocFusion, the bank will be able to offer its customers combined statements that reflect an entire customer portfolio, aggregating information from diverse accounts such as checking, savings, loans, trust and brokerage. Implementation of the system also allows the bank to offer its customers access to electronic statements via home banking.
