Banklink, a unit of Fiserv, Inc. (Nasdaq: FISV) and a leading provider of treasury management products and services, announced today that it is releasing WebLink(TM) 5.0, a new version of its browser-based cash management solution for mid-sized companies.

WebLink is a thin-client application that enables users to perform a variety of cash management duties - including ACH origination, information reporting, stop payments, NACHA pass-through and account transfer - through a single window.

Version 5.0 offers enhancements in eight major areas, adding convenience for WebLink system users, as well as saving them time and money. A new Account Transfer service provides a simple interface to move funds between internal accounts. Information Reporting is enhanced via a new Account Statement Report that includes both summary and detail information on a single page; the ability to export data into standard file formats for use in other software packages; and access to loan information. Other Version 5.0 features include Multibank Reporting, an enhanced User Interface, simplified Message Broadcasting from financial institution to user, comprehensive Billing Reporting and versatile Audit Reporting.

The WebLink system's intuitive interface can be privately branded by the financial institutions that offer it to their corporate customers and can be accessed through the institution's Web site. The WebLink system's extensive administrative functions include shadowing, which allows the financial institution to view transactions while customers are composing them and respond quickly if the client calls with questions about a transaction.

The WebLink system eliminates software distribution, reduces customer support costs and accelerates product upgrades and modifications. Banklink provides 24-hour data center operations, including hosting, receipt and transmission of bank files, and disaster recovery. In addition, Banklink will align resources and development efforts to rollout and enhance the product offering, which can be offered in complete continuity with legacy products.
