Amy Piper Munson has been appointed vice president of Internet marketing at Cole Taylor Bank in Chicago. Erica W. Wiczer has been named vice president, communications. Munson and Wiczer both came to Cole Taylor Bank from Bank One. Munson will be in charge of Internet and e-commerce product development. Wiczer will direct the development and implementation of marketing communications programs.

Michelle Mason, previously marketing manager for First Mutual Bank in Bellevue, Wash., has been named manager of marketing and investor relations at Horizon Bank in Bellingham, Wash.

Chuck Hokans has been promoted to senior vice president and chief marketing officer at United Bankers' Bank in Bloomington, Minn. Hokans came to the bank in 1985 as assistant vice president and marketing officer.

FirstMerit Corp., Akron, Ohio, has named Melissa J. Kinlin to the board of directors as officer for corporate marketing. Kinlin came to the bank as a regional marketing representative in 1998 and was promoted to senior marketing representative last year.

Ginger Pilgrim has been promoted to vice president of the call center for North Dallas Bank. She will be in charge of customer service and retail Internet banking. She joined the bank in 1997.
