Banker who stole jailed; COURT.


A BANK boss addicted to online poker who stole pounds 260,000 from elderly customers was jailed yesterday for 27 months.

Cathy Otero, 57, was manager of four branches of Alliance & Leicester in the Brighton area when she took from 13 customers' accounts.

At Hove Hove (hōv), city (1991 pop. 65,587), East Sussex, SE England. It is a modern residential seaside resort.  crown court Otero, of Portslade, W Sussex, admitted 15 counts of theft.

Her victims were robbed of between pounds 3,000 and pounds 57,000, including pounds 44,000 from widow Dora Young to whom she had become a carer carer
