BankNote a Hunts Point first.


Upon completion of a $25-million renovation, the 405,000 s/f BankNote building will become the first Class-A office and retail building in Hunts Point, Bronx Hunts Point is a neighborhood in the Bronx borough of New York City. The peninsula extends west into a bend of the East River. The neighborhood is bounded by Westchester Avenue to the north, the Bronx River to the east, the East River to the south, and Prospect Avenue to the west. , as rated by Co-Star.

The Class-A designation is rare in the Bronx Bronx, river, c.20 mi (30 km) long, issuing from Kensico Reservoir, SE N.Y., and flowing SW through the Bronx into the East River. The Bronx River Parkway, one of the first limited-access highways in the New York City area, parallels a portion of the river.  commercial market making this architecturally-distinct property the second Class-A office building in the South Bronx and one of eight in the entire Bronx borough.
