Tourism adds to the economy., Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 7, 1999--BankFirst Corporation (NASDAQ: BKFR) announced today the selection of contractors for BankFirst's soon-to-be-constructed 3,200 square foot branch at Governor's Crossing in Sevierville, Tennessee, a multi-million dollar commercial real estate development of retail businesses, restaurants and entertainment complexes. Wood Brothers Construction of Knoxville, Tennessee, will build the Governor's Crossing office, designed by Lindsey & Maples Architects, also of Knoxville. A BankFirst Automated Teller Machine (ATM) is already in service in the Governor's Crossing Outlet Center. The new office is slated for completion by the fourth quarter of 1999, bringing BankFirst's total number of offices in operation to 25 bankwide. "Our Governor's Crossing office will provide customers with an eighth BankFirst branch serving the immediate Sevier County area," said BankFirst President and CEO Fred R. Lawson. "We will continue offering customers greater convenience in branch and ATM locations while maintaining our local focus on quality services for both consumers and businesses."
