BankBoston Retail Finance Inc. Completes Record Year; Former Subsidiary of BankBoston, N.A. Officially Changes Name.

BankBoston Retail Finance completed a record year in 1999, with a 164 percent increase in agented commitments over 1998.

The company begins 2000 with a new name, Fleet Retail Finance Inc., a result of the merger between BankBoston and Fleet Financial Group, and the exciting challenge of topping the 26 transactions that totaled more than $3 billion in agented commitments closed last year.
