Bank raid bungler.


ADRIVER chased and caught a bungling bank robber who fell over, a court heard yesterday.

Scott Galbraith tailed Alan Mitchell, 27, after he used a toy gun to steal pounds 136,000.

Thousands of pounds fell out of his bag as he ran but Mr Galbraith snared him after he tripped up.

Mitchell appeared at the High Court in Glasgow yesterday to admit robbing the Bank of Scotland Bank of Scotland plc is a commercial and clearing bank, based in Edinburgh, Scotland. With a history dating to the 17th century, it is the oldest surviving bank in what is now the United Kingdom, and is the only commercial institution created by the Parliament of Scotland to  in the city's Trongate in May.
