Bank of the West Announces 121 Years of Free Checking.


SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 28, 1995--Bank of the West announced its 121st birthday with an offer of a checking account with no monthly services charges for the next 121 years.

While other banks and savings & loans typically offer six months or one year of free checking to lure lure
