) - Bank of Yokohama, Ltd. and The Bank of East Asia The Bank of East Asia Limited (Traditional Chinese: 東亞銀行有限公司) HKSE: 0023 often abbreviated to BEA , Limited, known as BEA BEA - Basic programming Environment for interactive-graphical Applications, from Siemens-Nixdorf. , announced a business alliance agreement on March 9th.

Through a collaboration with BEA, the largest Hong Kong Hong Kong (hŏng kŏng), Mandarin Xianggang, special administrative region of China, formerly a British crown colony (2005 est. pop. 6,899,000), land area 422 sq mi (1,092 sq km), adjacent to Guangdong prov.  based bank, and its network including largest branch network as a foreign bank in mainland China, the Bank of Yokohama hopes to provide extented financial services to customers expanding business in Asian region including mainland China.

The BofY will also provide financial services to BEA customers in Japan.

Both Banks will also collaborate in exchanging information about local

financial situations and discuss sending delegate trainees from the BofY to BEA.
