Immediate Access to Cancelled Checks

Beginning this fall, customers of Bank of Mississippi will be able to see their cancelled checks via the Internet.

As part of the bank's "Check It!" checking account statement management program, customers may view their checks -- both front and back -- on their PC screen the day after the check has cleared the bank. For example, a check written Monday Monday: see week.  and processed Monday night will be available to view on Tuesday Tuesday: see week. .

Bank of Mississippi Vice Chairman Harry Baxter said the Bank of Mississippi's taking a leading position on Internet banking reflects the bank's commitment "To serve our customers Every Hour, Every Day, Everywhere."

"We define convenience as serving our customers when and where they want to be served," Baxter noted.
