Bank of America markets card security for customers. (Marketing News).

Bank of America, Charlotte, N.C., recently launched a $26 million national advertising campaign to promote its new security protection program for card customers.

The program, called Total Security Protection, is intended to provide customers with greater defense against theft, loss or unauthorized (including online) use. All customers are automatically enrolled for free for all Bank of America consumer credit cards, check cards and equity credit-line Visa cards.

A new feature of the package is guaranteed credit. If a customer's card is lost or stolen, the bank guarantees credit to the cardholder's account by the end of the next business day in the event of unauthorized card transactions (subject to verification and dollar limit).
