Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce & Civic Association announced today that Bank of America has sponsored the panel discussion titled "The Digital Revolution: Entertainment's New Frontier" at the Economic Summit 2003. Led by Editor-in-Chief of The Hollywood Reporter Robert Dowling, the session will forecast the impact the digital revolution will have on Southern California's entertainment industry. Produced in partnership with the Milken Institute, the Economic Summit will be held on Tuesday, February 4, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at The Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel, in Beverly Hills. Economists, chief executives and industry leaders will tackle the year's most interesting economic topics in three distinct and dynamic sessions.

The speakers will focus on the film industry's transition into digital production and distribution.

The Economic Summit, third annual presentation of forecasts for the business community, will include two other notable sessions. The breakfast discussion, sponsored by City National Bank and moderated by Richard Weiss, Chief Investment Officer of City National Bank, will focus on the Southern California regional economy. The afternoon forum chaired by Donald H. Straszheim, Vice Chairman of the Milken Institute and President of Straszheim Global Advisors, will concentrate on the global economy. All panels will feature noted experts in their respective fields and provide guests with insights unavailable elsewhere.

Each year, the Economic Summit brings together top leaders from academia, business and economics to discuss key trends and forecasts before business and industry leaders who are preparing for the upcoming year.
