Some recipients of first-quarter Bank of America Community Catalyst Grants include:
-- New Mexico Forest Re-Leaf Tree Planting Program, in Bernalillo,
N.M., which runs a statewide program serving the entire population
of the state through tree planting projects and public outreach
-- Denison Heritage, Inc., in Denison, Texas, which will use the
grant to host a series of composting seminars that are critically
needed due to a lack of recycling programs
-- Catawba Lands Conservancy, in Charlotte, N.C., which is a land
conservation organization dedicated to promoting education for
land owners, land conservation projects and protected properties
-- WildCare Terwilliger Nature Education and Wildlife, in San Rafael,
Calif., which will use the funds to protect regional flora and
fauna through the collaborative efforts of two environmental
organizations.
