Bank of America Appoints Doug Pratt to Head Its New Western Region Corporate Banking Office in Los Angeles.SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 4, 1995--Bank of America's U.S. Corporate Group has appointed Executive Vice President Douglas A. Pratt to head its Western Region. Pratt will be responsible for all corporate banking activities in the thirteen Western states, as well as the high technology, entertainment/media, health care and airline industries nationally. The Northwest Region and High Technology Group since 1993, will assume responsibility of the Western Region immediately . He will be located in Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850. and will report to Group Executive Vice President Jerry Fair, head of the U.S. Corporate Group. Previously, the Western Region was split between the San Francisco and Los Angeles offices. By consolidating management of the two offices, the bank will be in a better position to achieve consistent and effective delivery of products to its corporate clients in the West. "He has helped drive the corporate finance business significantly forward in the San Francisco Office during the past three years and brings a strong skill base to the new assignment." Prior to his current position, Pratt, a bank employee since 1977, spent fourteen years in Los Angeles. From 1985 to 1991, he was the regional investment banking officer in the Investment Banking Group in Los Angeles, serving large corporate clients in the airline, entertainment/media, and energy/utilities industry groups in the West. Pratt also held positions in the Special Assets Group, Energy Group and Los Angeles Corporate Office.
