The initial pledge to help build the Maria Fareri Children's Hospital at Westchester Medical Center was made in 2003. Through the Foundation, the Bank has made the installments over the past three years to ensure continual funding and support for the hospital. The "Union State Bank Tower" was named for the Bank's consistent commitment to the Children's Hospital Foundation. "Union State Bank is proud to hard been able to support the Children's Hospital over the past three years with their initiative to bring quality healthcare to the children in our community. The Bank and the hospital continue to develop a strong relationship and we are delighted to share in their success," said Crotty. This past May, Union State Bank provided a generous sponsorship of $20,000 as well as an enthusiastic team of employees for the hospital's 2nd annual "Walk the Walk and Family Fun Day." The funds will be used to enhance and expand vital programs and services at Maria Fareri Children's Hospital.
