The new millennium and new banking laws are making way for a new dimension in customer service at International Bancshares Corporation (Nasdaq:IBOC)("IBC").

IBC has recently entered into an agreement with Bankers Insurance Agency at IBC Inc., a Texas corporation, which will allow International Bank of Commerce customers and the general public to access an extensive array of insurance services from any of International Bank of Commerce's more than 90 branches throughout Texas beginning this month. Bankers Insurance Agency at IBC Inc. has joined forces with the Dan Corrigan Insurance Agency to form a company with 60 years of experience in the insurance industry.

Both Dan Corrigan and Max Roesch, the owner of Bankers Insurance Agency at IBC Inc., indicated that the opportunity to utilize International Bank of Commerce's extensive branch network was a key factor in their decisions to participate in the agreement with IBC.
