Marie T. van Luling has been named senior vice president of
marketing and corporate communications at Bank Rhode Island, Providence,
R.I. In this new position, van Luling will be responsible for managing
all communications activities for the bank. She is the former managing
director of the Boston office of Manning Selvage & Lee (MS&L), a
public relations agency.
