Bank One Becomes Chase April 24.

Bank One will officially become Chase on Monday, April 24, 2006, and the public is invited to enjoy free music and activities in Campus Martius Park. Media are welcome to attend the activities.

WHAT:   Chase Says Hello to Detroit with a Beatles tribute band, a
        jazz band, sketch artists and activities for children and the
        young at heart like face painting, puppet making and Cranbrook
        Science on the Go displays

WHEN:   11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, April 24

        --  Music by The Beat Club, a Beatles tribute band, 11:30 a.m.
            to 1:30 p.m.

        --  Face painting and balloon animals, noon to 2 p.m.

        --  Arts and crafts projects from Arts & Scraps, 11:30 a.m. to
            6 p.m.

        --  A puppet-making workshop presented by PuppetArt Theater, 1
            to 3 p.m.

        --  Cranbrook Science on the Go, 3 to 5 p.m.

        --  Free live jazz performance by The Project, 4 to 6 p.m.

WHERE:  Campus Martius Park, Woodward and Michigan avenues, Detroit

WHY:    The name change results from the 2004 merger of Bank One with
        JPMorgan Chase.

MORE:   Chase will celebrate the new brand in Michigan by giving
        consumers the chance to win one of three six-day, five-night

        Cards by visiting any branch and has asked promotional partner
        The Walt Disney Company to bring some of its magic to Campus
        Martius Park for Chase Day in the Park. Park visitors will see
        backdrops of familiar Disney theme parks scenes and a car from
        the famous Tomorrowland exhibit. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Chase
        employees will distribute free Mickey Mouse ice cream bars at
        the park and sketch artists will draw free portraits.
