The Philadelphia Cricket Club The Philadelphia Cricket Club is the oldest cricket club in the US city of Philadelphia, and one of the oldest country clubs in the nation. It was founded in 1854 by a group of English expatriates while studying in the University of Pennsylvania. , near Houghton-le-Spring, have pulled on their new kit as part of the sponsorship deal from Yorkshire Bank's Financial Solutions Centre (FSC FSC See: Foreign Sales Corporation ) in Newcastle. Phil Empson, senior partner at the FSC, said: "We're delighted to be helping the club. We pride ourselves on working with local people and businesses, so getting involved with a local cricket club is a really satisfying and worthwhile part of that grassroots approach."
