) today announced unaudited quarterly earnings figures. The Company reported earnings for the quarter ended June 30, 1999 of $.43 per common share compared to $.27 per common share for the same period in 1998. The Company reported earnings for the six months ended June 30, 1999 of $.97 per common share compared to $.55 per common share for the same period in 1998. Earnings for the twelve months ended June 30, 1999 were $1.80 per common share, compared to earnings of $.45 for the twelve months ended June 30, 1998. The improvement in year to date and twelve months ended earnings is attributable to the above mentioned items, as well as the February 9, 1998 rate increase authorized au·thor·ize
