Bangladesh police detain rebel sought by India.

Dhaka: Detective policemen have arrested a top operative of India's outlawed Asif Reza Commando Force (ARCF ARCF Agricultural Research Centre of Finland

) as he was charged with the task of organising the outfit's Bangladesh chapter, a senior police official said.

Islam said Obaidulah, a resident of West Bengal's Haora district, was trying to expand the network of ARCF, which had claimed responsibility for the terrorist attack on the American Centre in Kolkata in 2002 and closely linked to Harkatul Jihad Bangladesh and Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba.
