 into the Bangladeshi government, arguing that an Islamist state within a state is being built with the intent to eventually takeover the state completely. He argues that Bangladesh's government and police forces are not effective enough to confront the challenge. He concludes with a consideration of how the state and civil society can properly address the problem.
