Bang the drum for tradition; SMALL HEATH.

A UNIQUE combination of eastern drumming traditions feature in a concert on Saturday. The event will involve three generations of Guru-Shishas or master disciples.

New compositions have been composed and arranged by Birmingham-born master tabla player Pritam Singh.

The pieces will be performed in collaboration with young, talented musicians.

The concert is from 7-9pm at the Ramgharia Community Hall, Wavereley Road, Small Heath, Birmingham Small Heath is an inner-city area within the city of Birmingham, West Midlands, England. It is situated on and around the busy A-Road called the Coventry Road.

Small Heath is home to Birmingham City Football Club's St. Andrews stadium.

It is being supported by the Ravi Music College, the Mut-lashi Music Circle and the Arts Council An arts council is a government or private, non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the arts mainly by funding local artists, awarding prizes, and organizing events at home and abroad. .
