Bandwidth.com Names Steve Lacoff as VP of Product Management and Marketing; Mr. Lacoff to Leverage Sprint IP Enterprise Solution Expertise in New Role.


CARY, N.C. -- Bandwidth.com, a leading nationwide provider of Internet and Voice over IP (VoIP) services for small and medium businesses, today announced that it has named Steve Lacoff as VP of Product Management and Marketing. In this role, Lacoff will be responsible for leading Bandwidth.com's product strategy, marketing initiatives and alliance and carrier relationships.

He led the design and launch of seven global enterprise VPN (Virtual Private Network) A private network that is configured within a public network (a carrier's network or the Internet) in order to take advantage of the economies of scale and management facilities of large networks.  and security products, including Sprint's flagship portfolio of Layer 2 and MPLS VPN solutions. These responsibilities equipped him with a strong understanding of the enterprise telecom market and expanded his background in product strategy, channel management and enterprise sales.
