Sasken Communication Technologies has been chosen by Bandspeed to provide chip verification and system testing for its omni-directional and SDMA platforms. Bandspeed is a leader in combined silicon-software solutions that dramatically simplify the deployment and ongoing management of enterprise wireless LANs. Bandspeed's RF management solutions are ideally suited for Voice-over-WiFi and similar applications, which are capacity and latency sensitive.

"Sasken continues to work with emerging technologies in the telecom domain. Partnering with Bandspeed on their cutting edge Wi-Fi technologies further establishes Sasken as a preferred offshore outsourcing partner for telecom companies," said Prabhas Kumar, COO, Sasken Communication Technologies. "The rigorous system test automation methodology we developed will result in expeditious Wi-Fi pre-certifications, hence significantly cutting time to market for AP-SOC products. Sasken provides chip design, verification, testing and services across all layers of software engineering, ranging from firmware development to drivers and application development and testing. This provides customers such as Bandspeed with an end-to-end solution that meets their time-to-market specifications."
