Bandspeed's AirMaestro Reference Design Receives Wi-Fi(R) Interoperability Certification; AirMaestro is One of the Industry's First Access Points to Achieve This Level of Comprehensive Certification.


AUSTIN, Texas -- Bandspeed, the leader in Wi-Fi management solutions for the mass market, today announced that the company has completed all Wi-Fi Alliance (Wi-Fi Alliance, Austin, TX, www.wi-fi.org) A membership organization founded in 1999 devoted to certifying 802.11 wireless Ethernet devices for interoperability. The Wi-Fi CERTIFIED logo on a wireless radio (PC card, access point, etc.  certifications for the AirMaestro reference design. The certifications include IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, New York, www.ieee.org) A membership organization that includes engineers, scientists and students in electronics and allied fields.  802.11a, b, g, h and d, as well as extensive security, EAP (Extensible Authentication Protocol) A protocol that acts as a framework and transport for other authentication protocols.
