OREM, Utah Orem is an incorporated town in the north-central part of the state of Utah in Utah County. It is adjacent to Provo, Lindon, and Vineyard and is about 45 miles south of Salt Lake City. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 84,324.  -- The Bands For Freedom Foundation today announced it has gained the support of Willie Nelson, one of the 21st century's most influential songwriters.

The eight-time Grammy-winner also teamed up with fellow Outlaw artist Waylon Jennings to record the winning duet, "Mommas Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up to Be Cowboys."
