The bandh has gone off successfully and peacefully. All shops and other business organisations remained close due to bandh. Though the bandh was called up by all left parties but apart from INLD not a single political party looked interested to make it successful. From Tuesday morning INLD local leaders came on the roads and confirmed that shops should not get open. They also organised a rally to protest against the Government's failure to check price rise. With district headquarter, Karnal, other areas of the district, Ghronda, Indri, Nilokheri, Jundla and Assandh also looked paralysed. Ghronda's MLA MLA abbr.
