Banderacom Names Greg Dahl as Vice President of Marketing.

Dahl brings extensive technology marketing experience to Banderacom, including executive positions with Tricord Systems, a developer of clustered server appliances A self-contained computer system specialized for network use. Its applications are pre-installed, and access to setup and configuration is via a Web browser. Server appliances may provide a single application or several applications; for example, a single device may provide file server,  and software, and StorageTek, a worldwide leader in storage solutions.

Dahl was most recently vice president of marketing and business development for Tricord Systems, where he was responsible for establishing the company as a leader in storage management and appliances, as well as developing new solutions through OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) The rebranding of equipment and selling it. The term initially referred to the company that made the products (the "original" manufacturer), but eventually became widely used to refer to the organization that buys the products and  partnerships. Prior to this, Dahl was vice president of sales and marketing for StorageTek's Storage Networking Business Group where he oversaw the Storage Area Networking (SAN) business.
