AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 1, 2001

Banderacom(TM), a leading fabless InfiniBand(TM) semiconductor company, today announced that President and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  Les Crudele will speak at Morgan Keegan's Fourth Annual System Area Networks Conference. Crudele's comments will highlight InfiniBand technology, Banderacom's IBandit semiconductor architecture, the company's partnerships and customers and a model illustrating how this emerging technology will deploy rapidly.

"InfiniBand is revolutionary, inevitable, and disruptive," said Les Crudele, president and CEO, Banderacom. "Banderacom is at the bleeding edge A pun on "leading edge." It implies that using the latest technology is often risky because it has not been tested with enough users and may not perform as expected. Introducing an advanced product or service is also risky because the user community may not be ready for it or really want  of this rapidly emerging market, and we are excited to share our vision with other server and storage industry technology leaders."

"The electronics industry's commitment to the InfiniBand protocol is one of the most innovative developments in the design of computer and storage networks," said Robert Montague, Managing Director, Morgan Keegan. "Banderacom will play an integral role in InfiniBand's evolution, and Mr. Crudele's presentation will be a valuable contribution to Morgan Keegan's System Area Networks Conference."
