On August 21, 1996, the Company announced that drill hole TW96-1 located 1.2 km west of the Golden River Zone intersected three mineralized min·er·al·ize

 gold zones that assayed as high as 0.24 ounces gold per ton (8.2 g/t) over 9.8 feet (3m). Drill hole TW96-5 located 50 metres to the south and on the same section as hole TW96-1 assayed as high as .184 ounces gold per ton (6.3 g/t) over 9.8 feet (3m). Drilling is continuing to test the potential of the westerly Westerly, town (1990 pop. 21,605), Washington co., extreme SW R.I., between the Pawcatuck River and Block Island Sound; inc. 1669. Its textile industry dates from 1814, and granite has been quarried there since c.1850.  extension of the Golden River Zones.

  0.34 ounces gold per ton (11.6 g/t) over 19.7 ft. (6 m) and
  0.22 ounces gold per ton (7.5 g/t) over 10.5 ft. (3.2 m)




The assay results for the lower zone previously release in
hole Th96-60 should have read:
