Earlier this year local prospectors discovered visible gold mineralization Mineralization The process by which the body uses minerals to build bone structure. Mentioned in: Rickets mineralization, n the bioprecipitation of an inorganic substance. in a previously undiscovered quartz vein system. This new vein system has been mechanically stripped along a strike length of approximately 80 metres, with surface widths varying from 0.3 to 1.5 metres. Several surface grab samples were collected along strike, with assay results ranging from 1.4 to 61.7 grams gold per tonne including: 4.3 g/t, 5.7 g/t, 6.7 g/t, 7.1 g/t, 8.5 g/t, 8.9 g/t, 19.7g/t, 29.2 g/t and 61.7 g/t gold. Several samples collected from surrounding wall rock returned gold values ranging from 0.044 to 0.795 g/t gold. An initial drilling program consisting of six holes was conducted to further evaluate this new gold occurrence. Holes were drilled on 25 metres sections, with two holes drilled per section from the same setup. All holes were drilled at an azimuth azimuth (ăz`əməth), in astronomy, one coordinate in the altazimuth coordinate system. It is the angular distance of a body measured westward along the celestial horizon from the observer's south point. of 195 degrees and inclined at -45 degrees and -85 degrees. All drill holes intersected the vein structure, returning gold assays as high as 10.02 g/t gold over 0.8 metres including 38.3 g/t gold over 0.1 metres. Full results are summarized in the following table. --------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------- Hole From To Core Length (m) Grade (g/t) --------------------------------------------------------------------- RS - 04 - 1 (-45 degrees) 21.30 22.10 0.80 10.02 --------------------------------------------------------------------- Including 21.30 21.40 0.10 38.3 --------------------------------------------------------------------- RS - 04 - 2 (-85 degrees) 39.80 40.75 0.95 1.57 --------------------------------------------------------------------- RS - 04 - 3 (-45 degrees) 21.85 24.55 2.70 2.89 --------------------------------------------------------------------- Including 23.40 24.55 1.15 4.85 --------------------------------------------------------------------- RS - 04- 4 (-85 degrees) 33.70 36.70 3.00 3.16 --------------------------------------------------------------------- Including 35.60 36.70 1.10 5.61 --------------------------------------------------------------------- RS - 04 - 5 (-45 degrees) 18.33 18.98 0.65 0.21 --------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------- The Rock Star vein structure was intersected in drill hole RS-04-6, however, no significant gold values were encountered. Assay intervals not reported ranged in value from nil to 0.434 g/t Au. Additional drilling is required to determine the on strike and depth potential of this new gold discovery. The drilling program was supervised by the Company's Qualified Person, Robert Duess.
