 sources, the decision has been taken as the CM Punjab received complaints regarding transfers of teachers by the Education Department Rawalpindi on political basis. CM Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif had lifted the ban on the transfer of teachers and directed the Education Department to appoint teachers near their residences. The chief minister had also directed authorities concerned to transfer teachers on merit without any pressure, however, the Education Department Rawalpindi transferred teachers on political basis.
