Baltimore SelectAccess Now Offers Integrated Access and Authorization Management for The iPlanet Application Server.

Baltimore Technologies (London: BLM) today announced its SelectAccess(TM) access and authorization management software is now seamlessly interoperable with the new iPlanet(TM) Application Server 6.5, part of the Sun(TM) Open Net Environment (Sun ONE) from Sun Microsystems. Now supporting six leading application server solutions, SelectAccess makes it easy for customers to deploy access and authorization management to applications and users across the enterprise.

The iPlanet Application Server provides businesses and service providers with a robust Java 2(TM) Enterprise Edition (J2EE(TM)) certified e-commerce platform for developing, managing and deploying application services to a broad range of servers, clients and devices. The newest release of the product announced today, version 6.5, includes the iPlanet Application Framework which can greatly improve developer productivity, as well as enhanced Web services functionality and new resources for Web services developers (see related announcement from Sun Microsystems). The 6.5 version of the iPlanet Application Server is expected to be available on or about March 18, 2002.
