Baltimore Gas & Electric Selects Cannon Technologies' Distribution Automation Solution to Replace Conventional Voltage Regulator Technology.

MINNEAPOLIS -- Cannon Technologies, Inc. announces that Baltimore Gas & Electric, a Constellation Energy Constellation Energy (NYSE: CEG), headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland, generates, trades, supplies, and distributes energy. The company operates over 35 power plants in 11 states (mainly Maryland, Pennsylvania, New York, West Virginia, and California) under its operating  Company, has chosen Cannon Technologies' Yukon(R) Centralized Capacitor Control software and CBC (1) (Cell Broadcast Center) See cell broadcast.

Baltimore Gas & Electric's substation design uses an advanced voltage control algorithm in Cannon Technologies' Yukon(R) software to determine where and when to apply capacitors to maintain stable system voltages. The design includes Cannon Technologies' communicating capacitor controllers enhanced with failsafe features such as site voltage override for voltage protection and backup modes in the event communications become temporarily unavailable.

In addition to improved voltage regulation Voltage regulation
