Balochistan Package to fulfil abiding demands of Balochis: President.

ISLAMABAD, November 17, 2009 (Balochistan Times): President Asif Ali Zardari on Tuesday underlined that approval of Aghaze Haqooqai Balochistan Package will fulfil the long lasting demand of the people of Balochistan. He expressed these views while talking to Governor Balochistan, Nawab Zulfiqar Ali Magsi in the Presidency on Tuesday afternoon. Matters relating to the Aghaze Haqooqai Balochistan Package came under discussion during the meeting. The President said that the government attaches high priority to socio-economic development of Balochistan and added that the package will address the long-standing grievances of the people of Balochistan and will bring them into the mainstream by removing their sense of deprivation. Sources told that President expressed his grave concern over the mounting incidents of target killings in Balochistan adding some anti statements want to destabilize province. President said that such people would never succeed in their nefarious designs. The Governor also briefed the President about development projects and the various steps being taken by the provincial government to maintain law and order in the province.
