Baloch leaders urge Government to settle matters with genuine leadership of Balochistan.
ISLAMABAD , October 27, 2009 (Frontier Star): Baloch leadership has
said some so called elements are maligning the nation and the country
through their negative activities adding there is no movement for
independence existing in the Province and only law and order problem

Khaitran and other tribal chiefs while addressing a joint press
conference here Tuesday in National Press Club. They held, that no
movement for independence was going on in the Province nor the people of
Balochistan were against Pakistan and Army. Only a few miscreants were
trying to spread wrong impression through their negative activities to
serve their nefarious designs, they alleged. They charged, that the
federal government was trying to tackle Balochistan issue in wrong
manner. Government should settle the matters with the genuine leadership
of Balochistan rather than with those so called Baloch leaders sitting
in Islamabad, they demanded. They alleged India was behind deteriorating
situation in Balochistan All the militants groups are funded by India,
they added. Most of the leaders of Marri tribe were playing the role of
Indian agents, they said adding Barhamdagh Bugti, the grandson of Akbar
Bugti Nawab Akbar Shahbaz Khan Bugti (Urdu: نواب اکبر شہاز خان بگٹی) (July 12, 1927–August 26, 2006) was the Tumandar (head) of the Bugti tribe of Baluch and served as was also receiving directives from external elements.
