Baloch leaders to be taken on board on Balochistan Package: Ministers.

QUETTA, November 17, 2009 (Balochistan Times): Balochistan Ministers Mir Muhammad Sadique Umrani and Mir Muhammad Amin Umrani have said the government would take Baloch leaders on board on Aghaz Haqooq Balochistan Package. They said that at government level, it was decided to take Baloch leaders on board regarding Balochistan Package besides inviting their suggestions in this connection. They maintained that higher authorities had directed to contact with Baloch nationalist leaders and politicians belonging to other communities. They added that Parliamentary Committee working on Balochistan Package was taking steps in this regard. They noted that supremacy of Parliament would be maintained after repletion of amendments in the Constitution made by the dictatorial governments. They termed that Aghaz Haqooq Balochistan Package would be a historical package which would remove sense of deprivation amongst youths of Balochistan besides ending backwardness of the province. They mentioned that a meeting of Balochistan Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani had discussed all important aspects of Balochistan Package and named it Aghaz Haqooq Balochistan Package. They highlighted that all important stakeholders had been consulted over Balochistan Package. They hoped the package would help resolving all problems of the province.
