Yu Xin or China has joined the teaching staff of Ballet San Jose Ballet San Jose in San Jose, California, USA, was originally founded in 1986 as the "San Jose Cleveland Ballet," a co-venture with the ten-year old Cleveland Ballet which offered to the dancers added performing exposure, and each city a ballet company for a moderate, shared School. He attended the Beijing Dance Academy Beijing Dance Academy (Simplified Chinese: 北京舞蹈学院; Traditional Chinese: 北京舞蹈學院 and was a principal dancer with the Shanghai Ballet before he came to the U.S. Most recently he performed with American Ballet Theatre American Ballet Theatre, one of the foremost international dance companies of the 20th cent. It was founded in 1937 as the Mordkin Ballet and reorganized as the Ballet Theatre in 1940 under the direction of Lucia Chase and Rich Pleasant. . The school has also received $30,000 from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation to provide scholarships for 45 students.
