Ballard Power Systems Announces Nasdaq Stock Symbol Change From 'BLDPF' to 'BLDP'.


VANCOUVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 29, 1999--(Nasdaq:BLDPF) (TSE:BLD.) Ballard Power Systems Ballard Power Systems (TSX: BLD, NASDAQ: BLDP), located in Burnaby, British Columbia -- a suburb of Vancouver -- is a company that designs, develops, and manufactures zero emission proton-exchange-membrane fuel cells.  Inc. announced today that it will change its stock symbol on The Nasdaq Stock Market Nasdaq stock market

The first electronic stock market listing over 5000 companies. The Nasdaq stock market comprises two separate markets, namely the Nasdaq National Market, which trades large, active securities and the Nasdaq Smallcap Market that trades emerging growth companies.
